Recent major victories include Governor Schweitzer of Montana, Governor Mike Beebe of Arkansas, Governor Culver in Iowa, Lt. Governor Jim Folsom of Alabama and Senators Murray of Washington and Nelson of Nebraska. Struble first came to Washington to serve as Deputy National Field Director for President Jimmy Carter in 1979. David EichenbaumPartner
David Eichenbaum teamed up with Karl Struble in 1999 and, together, they have earned a reputation for winning tough races. Eichenbaum has helped elect governors such as Tim Kaine of Virginia, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, and Steve Beshear of Kentucky; Senators such as Maria Cantwell of Washington, Robert Byrd of West Virginia and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, and House members such as Chris Murphy of Connecticut and Ed Perlmutter of Colorado. Prior to joining the firm, Eichenbaum worked on Capitol Hill, in a variety of state and national Democratic campaigns as a press secretary and campaign manager and, in 1996, as communications director for the Democratic National Committee. Eichenbaum has also worked internationally, helping to elect governments in the United Kingdom and Romania.
Megan SullivanSenior Avid Editor
Megan Sullivan graduated from The University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Communications, English, and a minor in Fine Arts. Before joining the firm, Sullivan edited for DJP Productions, working on movie trailers for Miramax and The Shooting Gallery. She later moved to Santa Monica where she worked for Chainsaw, a post production company with clients including HBO, VH1, and FOX. When she's not editing political ads, Megan has collaborated on a documentary about wiffleball, called "Whiff," and worked on the series "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" for Bravo TV.
Melissa AmidonDirector of Media and Research
Melissa Amidon joined the firm after receiving her degree in Political Science from Indiana University in the spring of 2006. In her home state of Illinois she worked for Senator Richard Durbin as an assistant to the scheduler and as a volunteer for the American Cancer Society. Along with her Political Science degree, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History, a minor in Religious Studies and a minor in Psychology.
Ted SeversonEditor & Designer
Ted grew up in a politically active family in South Dakota where he gained a lifelong passion for Democratic politics while knocking on doors for Senator Tim Johnson's 2002 re-election campaign. Ted also works with our sister firm Bullseye Interactive designing, building, and deploying online campaigns.
Ted has a BA in Digital Media Studies from the University of Denver, and in 2010 received a Masters in Political Management from The George Washington University. When not obsessing about politics and television, Ted can usually be found making very loud noises with musical instruments.
Sarah WidesProducer
A D.C. native, Sarah’s career with Struble Eichenbaum began as an intern in 2006 and she is thrilled to be back on the team, this time as field producer. Sarah graduated from Boston’s Emerson College in 2008 with a degree in Visual and Media Arts and a minor in Political Communication. She has previously worked with Sony Pictures Television in Los Angeles, the Paley Center for Media in New York City, and returned home to Washington for a position with the United States Institute of Peace. When not on the road, Sarah enjoys running, whipping up meals for friends, and making googly eyes at her cat.
Ellen Heiman
Ellen Heiman entered politics over twenty years ago as a Regional Supervisor of phone banks for the Carter-Mondale presidential campaign. She went on to supervise voter identification and fundraising for both Congressional and Senate campaigns nationwide, and headed direct-mail operations for candidates and state parties, including Minority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD), Senator Fritz Hollings (D-SC), and the Washington State Democratic Party.
